چکیده

Chemical looping combustion of biomass is a promising carbon capture technology due to its inherent CO2 separation advantage. However, complete fuel conversion, particularly volatiles conversion for biomass, usually not achieved in the reactor. A novel concept named distributor (VD) has been proposed and tested cold-flow fluidized-bed, which shows good potential achieve more uniform horizontal distribution improve gas-solid contact. In this work, VD further developed by introducing an array internal baffles inside VD. The objective gas reduce slip from bottom results show that uniformity improved significantly equipped with baffles, especially single multiple bubble regimes. reduced installation according visual observation, even though there higher concentration detected above edge near wall. pronounced back-mixing wall main riser may be principal reason measured concentration.
